We are the newest kindergarten teachers at an elementary school in Chon Buri - about an hour South of Bangkok. Those teeny 4-year olds own us every weekday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. But when the school bell rings to end the day, we own Thailand. We navigate our way around the city by what street food stand we'd like to eat at next. We are loving the people we've met, the food we've experienced, the miles we've walked... and the hours we've spent lost.

Koh Larn, Thailand
We made another day trip to Koh Larn, an island off the coast of Pattaya. This is the kind of place you hear about when you talk to people about Thailand. It was almost like paradise... minus the Europeans in their g-strings. In an effort not to stare, we laid on the white sand beaches, swam in the crystal clear warm water, and hiked the jungle-like terrain. We have the sunburns to prove it.

Elton's Not The Only One Doing The Crocodile Rock
We took a day trip to the Crocodile Farm right outside of Pattaya. But before we saw some guy nearly lose a limb while wrangling a Croc - we played with the elephants. These giants gave us smiles that will not wear off for a long, long time...
More photos to come. That's a promise!

Pathumtani: a very short story
As we said our tearful goodbyes last week - many of you wished us well for our upcoming adventure in Thailand. We packed our bags and boarded the flight with the full intention of loving our in home in Pathumtani. As first time visitors to Thailand, we had small expectations of the town. We just wanted to be surrounded by good food, good views, and good people.
Let's just say Pathumtani wasn't the place for us. So we parted ways.
Next stop: Pattaya.
